A characteristic of laser processing is that the surrounding area becomes burnt and brown.
The product is colored after laser cutting, but there may be some scorching or uneven coloring on the surface.
There will be a slight smell of burnt wood, but this will disappear over time.

The back side is plain.
Please note that there may be small laser marks, but this does not mean the product is faulty.
